If someone approaches yoga simply as a fashion, which at some point will decline, it should rather be revised. At a time characterized by rapid rhythms, anxiety and depression, yoga is a way out.
A survey conducted by 100 people in postgraduate studies from the University of Thessaly concludes:
The results of the research demonstrate the existence of a significant relationship between meditation, yoga, spirituality, and the reduction of depression and anxiety that should be considered in counseling for the treatment of these disorders. 1
This is one among many related researches that reach the same conclusion. But why and how is this happening?

- Enables body relaxation, reduces stress
Conscious breathing, the technique of relaxation and meditation are an antidote to stress. It teaches us to stay calm and calm towards the challenges.

By gaining better self-knowledge physically, mentally and emotionally, we allow ourselves to handle and better focus on external challenges. This is accomplished with attention to our breath, our circle of thoughts and where we have tension in our body.
- Therapeutic practice
Conscious breathing and imaging are utilized to reduce physical pain and anxiety. With the active effort, done through specific methods, we promote self-acceptance.
- We break bad habits
Through discipline and commitment to individual health, we overcome bad habits. This quickly shows us the possibilities we have for improving the quality of our lives.
- It teaches us to be responsible
A better physical self-awareness allows us to manage our physical needs more responsibly. We also control our thoughts and the internal dialogue that is taking place. We thus control our lives better by contributing consciously to improving it.
