"What to make for Clean Monday’s meal?"

“Clean Monday” in Greece means countryside, good friends, kite and fasting. Abstaining from meat is a good opportunity for non-vegan to enjoy vegan recipes, especially when the choices are extremely tasty, easy and quick. Prepare the excursions for the trip and prepare the recipes.

Lagana wants its ointment so prepare quickly a cashew garlic and one with lentils and peppers. Simple and healthy. For the first we will need cashews that we have soaked from the previous night, two or three cloves of garlic to taste, olive oil, white vinegar, salt, pepper and water.

All together in the blender for mashing and water as needed to homogenize the mixture. Tip: and a little fennel fits!

For the second recipe we want about 200 grams of lentils, one colored pepper, one not too big onion, olive oil, lemon and a little rosemary. Natural salt and pepper. Place pepper, onion and rosemary in a pan. Pour the oil and allow it to brown for a while. Then, together with the boiled lentils, pour them all into the blender! Ready!!!

Let's go get some country salads too!

Cut boiled potatoes, corn, capers, dill, onion and sesame seeds. All together in a pan and pour over a sauce of olive oil, lemon, mustard, salt and pepper. Easy and filling.

What about a favorite quinoa salad with vegetables and mustard sauce?

The recipe is reminiscent of tumbleweed, so we need boiled cinnamon, chopped onion, plenty of chopped parsley, cucumber, a little tomato, garlic optional, nuts of our choice, oil, mustard and lemon.

The execution is simple!

-Put all the materials in a tray.

-Beat the oil with the mustard and lemon and sprinkle the salad!

For the main dish beans of all kinds fit and the recipes together and the variations are many. We would recommend a recipe with boiled black beans, carrot, onion, colored peppers, boiled corn, tomato, oregano, olive oil, balsamic, sesame salt and pepper.

Cut vegetables into small cubes about the size of beans. Put them all together in a baking tray and pour in oil and balsamic.

Good excursion and good appetite!
