In fact, there are many foods with reversing properties. Here we will focus on few of them.

 

A handful of dried fruits make over the stress

Walnuts & peanuts

In fact, walnuts contribute to the fight against stress as they contain magnesium that keeps the levels of cortisol-hormone. Correspondingly, pistachios reduce blood pressure and help the body better manage the adrenaline eruption to avoid anxiety attacks.

 

Give room for green vegetables on your plate

Broccoli, spinach, lettuce, cabbage are all rich in vitamins and folic acid, a water-soluble vitamin that helps fight stress, as well as depression.

 

Include fish at your meal

Omega 3 fatty acids, found in fish, help brain cells to function better, which helps in managing anxiety. At the same time, they protect our heart, while new research shows that fatty acids also help reduce cortisol.

 

Tea botanical, always up to date

Despite new imports of alternative foods in our daily lives, herbs continue to be high on the list for their beneficial properties. To deal with stress, try chamomile, melissa or licorice. Their properties are multiple. They are soothing; exert tonic action on the circulatory system and the heart, reducing blood pressure. Others have antibacterial activity. The important thing, however, is that they help reduce stress. It is no coincidence that they have been used by doctors over the centuries...
