Vienna: The charming capital with gastronomic surprises!

Vienna: The charming capital with gastronomic surprises!

Fergel Palace stands imposingly on Herrengasse 14. Neo-Gothic architecture copying the impressive buildings of Florence. It housed the stock exchange and the Austro-Hungarian Bank in the 19th century.

Then beneath the vaulted ceilings and arched windows, in the light of hanging chandeliers and next to the marble columns and stained glass, burned endless Café Central which still lives up to the Viennese café and the myth of Viennese coffee of Vienna. At this point in 1840 it had over 80 cafes, called Kaffeehaus and was the heart of a beautiful city.

A visit to the café Central is a must, not for historical reasons, but because the space, the aroma of coffee, the flavors of the colorful sweet choices and the intense sense of socialization in a place where currents of thought and philosophy of old times meet reveal you. how this is vienna! The story says that poets, painters, writers, politicians and actors passed by the large hall of the Café Central to discuss the freshness of their time.

Nowadays people from all over the world visit Vienna as a travel destination. After touring the Hofburg Palace in Absburg, they arrive at Herrengasse Street to enjoy the various types of Viennese coffee and of course the renowned Viennese puddings and strudels that are now prepared based on the new diet. The apple strudel is famous, though almost everyone in front of the colorful sweets buffet does not know what to choose.

It may be the soul of Vienna, but the café central is one of Vienna's many attractions. The Hofburg and Shenbrun palaces stand out, as do the Ringstrasse Circle and the Staatsoper Opera House. Two are shopping streets for shopping. Corner Strabee Street with luxury stores and Maria Heifler Strasse with department stores.

Hundreds of thousands of visits a year to the renowned museums of Vienna. The Museum of Art History, the Museum of Natural History, and the Leopold Museum have the highest traffic, as are areas where great composers such as Beethoven and Mozart lived.
